What visitors say
Even though the campsite was fully booked, the owner welcomed us with such genuine kindness and took the time to help us find another nearby campsite in the perfect location. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. The campsite itself is spotless, very well maintained, and just a short walk from a beautiful beach that’s perfect for long walks and relaxing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. Thank you for your kindness and outstanding service. We would happily stay here next time and can highly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the area!

Spent a night in Pod 4 with my 1&3 year old and it was absolutely gorgeous. Such a handy get away, camping but without too much faff. Toilet, microwave, fridge and kettle all incredibly handy. Didn’t expect such comfy mattresses& room for a travel cot! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and park (even with little legs!) and the shop&village green is close by to. Amanda the warden was SO helpful and accommodating. Already booked to come back!

What a lovely spot. Very friendly. It is surrounded by walks - beach, river and woods. A great pub in the village and a shop and cafe. There’s a good play park very close by too. We stayed in a pod, it was great. Quiet and nice campsite.

Really great experience. Pod was perfect. So clean, has its own toilet (fab) so no trekking outside. Great location. The great weather we had definitely helped, we love being outdoors. We went to the park, did the tyre swing, did the natural balance beam parks found on the trails. Played football. Walked the beach, met the goat that sits in the middle of the road, explored the caves, watched a swan shake its tail feather, dined at McBrides and played board games in the evening sun. Happy glampers.
