Had an excellent time visiting this place. Lots to walk around, plenty to see. We were lucky enough to see a falconry display when we went. Toilets in a couple of places around this castle. Used the cafe had drinks and cakes.

Great castle with a good ticket price. Has a cafe, children's play park, displays and a tour if you want. Amazing views and you can free roam. Castle has an amazing history and is definitely worth visiting.

One of the most fascinating castles I've ever visited. So many rooms and nooks and crannies. Stunning views. Well worth a visit.

Mont Orgueil is not only a castle but also served as the main fortress of the Island. The castle is located on the east coast of the Island, built on a rocky promontory overlooking the harbour fishing village of Gorey. At the time it was called Gorey Castle. I find the castle expectacular and trully amazing. Its a big castle with never-ending spiral staircases, laira, and rooms; quite mysterious to explore - feels like you are in the medieval ages. You can literally see and smell history. Exploring takes 2-3 hours (i would say) so wear comfortable shoes and clothing, because you will be walking and climbing stairs a lot. It's also pretty windy when you reach the top of the castle, even when you are on its grounds as the location is quite high. Bring water in case, especially when visiting in the summer. There's only one cafe in the caslte and it is located near the entrance, children's play park, and visual. Toilets- you'll find it somwhere in the castle 😅 Its a great place to explore both kids and adults. It's my second time visiting the castle and still fascinates me, and I would visit again 😊👍
