We have just spent a fabulous day at Lightwater Adventure park, with my 2 grandchildren. They went on plenty of rides, thoroughly enjoyed the playgrounds and absolutely loved the entertainment. There were team games near the bandstand, a pirate show in Pirate Cove and a disco in the theatre towards the end of the day. They really enjoyed it all. It’s definitely worth checking out what’s on, as the team have clearly worked hard to provide this free entertainment and it’s great. I have to say, since our last visit, the park is looking much better. The new owners clearly care about its future, are already investing in new rides, and have tidied and/or improved various area in the park. The whole park is very clean, with plenty of bins dotted around everywhere! We’ll definitely be back.

We went in during kids holidays and it was kinda half a day trip. We as adults too enjoyed the trip along with kids. It was really worth the money spend. The new roller coaster ride was the hit. Got the pictures taken as well, but only one side of the cam worked on that day. The water slides were also great. The staffs were so friendly and helpful and nice.

Lots to do for younger kids. It wasn't crowded today when we went. Most of the staff manning the rides were quite young and very good, as we're all the staff.

Quite an expensive day out, however! lightwater valley theme park is a wonderful place for your kids be aware once inside the park their are additional charges all rides are free, but the crazy golf there is a charge the staff are very friendly and helpful, there are on site shops and eateries. There are on site amenities and you really need a full day for lightwater valley family park, finally the park is in a wonderful area surrounded by countryside in north Yorkshire it is a picturesque drive to and from the park. Five stars would have been my rating however I thought it a tad expensive I might add we turned up on the day and payed at the gate I think it may be cheaper booking on line.
