Was it good for a walk? Yes…but nothing exciting at all. My partner climbed up to see Fort Gregory and said if it wasn’t for the sign at the base you would’ve missed it. Looked like some rocks in the ground in a clearing.

Absolutely fabulous.Such a beautiful part of the country.Just a shame about the low life leaving there litter after a lovely weekend. Poo bags in holes of the stone walls and the odd plastic bottle.Just wish these people would stay away from places like this.Don’t understand there mentality. If they can’t respect the country side then stay away. Sadly it happens everywhere. That said it is definitely worth visiting.

Long or short walks are always enjoyable at grass woods. If you're quiet you can see deer, squirrels and lots of different birds including barn owls , woodpeckers and lots of others too.

Stunning stretch of river here. Paths very very very slippy and steep in the mid (not particularly maintained paths) but probably only suitable with kids steady on their feet. But beautiful spot
