Lilypots

The sandy beach at Great Yarmouth is within walking distance of Lilypots, a ground-floor cottage that works well for families, older guests, or anyone who prefers not to manage stairs. The two bedrooms (one double, one single with a pull-out single) and single bathroom sit on one level, with an enclosed garden at the back where you can eat outdoors or simply sit under the Norfolk sky. Parking for two cars is on site.

The open-plan living space centres on a wood burner and a dining table, with a modern kitchen that has everything needed to cook proper meals—electric oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One pet can stay free. The property does not allow smoking.

Great Yarmouth itself, seven miles away, has a pier, a fairground, bowling, crazy golf, a model village and a Sea Life Centre. Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is at nearby Lowestoft. For quieter time, walking and cycling routes run from the cottage, and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is within reach. Scratby Bakery Ltd is close by for provisions.
