About The Greenhead Hotel
Anyone spending days out on Hadrian's Wall or exploring Northumberland National Park will find The Greenhead Hotel a practical place to base themselves. It suits walkers and cyclists more than anyone chasing luxury, offering somewhere warm to return to after a day on the trails rather than a destination in itself.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and free WiFi, and the hotel runs a restaurant and bar on site along with outdoor seating for warmer evenings. Breakfast is served, kids' meals are available, and there's a laundry service for those on longer trips. Reception operates around the clock, and meeting rooms and business facilities are available for anyone combining work with the visit.
Free on-site parking makes it easy to head straight out to the surrounding walking and cycling routes, with golf, pubs, and further restaurants all nearby in Greenhead. It's a sensible, no-frills stop for those prioritising access to the Wall and the national park over anything more polished.
