About Premier Inn Grimsby
Walk into a room at Premier Inn Grimsby and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, drinks on hand, and the sort of straightforward comfort that keeps things simple after a day out. The hotel spans two floors with 39 rooms in total, including accessible options, and free on-site parking takes the hassle out of arriving by car.
Downstairs, the attached restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals, with hand-scratched pizzas a particular favourite among guests, though the dining area itself doesn't always get the upkeep it deserves. Staff are consistently described as friendly and accommodating, and 24 hour reception means check-in isn't tied to office hours.
Set at Europa Park on Appian Way, the hotel is well placed for exploring Grimsby and the wider area, with Cleethorpes beach and the National Fishing Heritage Centre both within easy reach, and the A16 close by for onward travel. Golf, fishing, horse riding and a nearby pub round out things to do without straying far.
What guests say
Service is horrendous, no people skills and very ignorant staff. Food is below average even for a premier inn. When asking for my food to be re done - it was reheated and exact same food brought back out. I had a horrendous room with a dirty toilet on arrival, no pillow cases on my pillows. This hotel is in dire need of fresh management and better staff training. 110% recommend the cleethorpes premier inn instead - staff are amazing and very welcoming.

Breakfast with a smile. I’ve been served by a lady called Jannine this morning who has made eating here a pleasure. All the food is freshly cooked which is nice to see, and Jannine brought me warmed soya milk which some resturants at Premier inns will not do. It truly was service with a smile every step. Great customer service.

The place was looking a bit tired and in need of some TLC both inside & outside. Bed very comfortable as usual but carpet stained and marks on bathroom ceiling & walls. Staff very helpful, good humoured & friendly but run off their feet in the restaurant with one person having to do too many things at the same time. Despite the pressure she remained calm and good humoured. Food excellent.

Had to stay here on a business trip, Armed forces weekend so very busy everywhere. Although the hotel/bar is looking a little tired the staff make up for it. Jannine in the restaurant/bar was rushed off her feet but nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a couple of things to take to my room so I could work which was also no trouble. I noticed she had gone from a late night and was back on at breakfast but was still as bubbly and friendly. We'll done!! Especially as the weather was extremely hot and hospitality isn't easy at the best of times. Thank you.
