Anneddle Talybont Cottage

Talybont sits close enough to Barmouth and Harlech for an easy reach of both, yet far enough into the Snowdonia foothills to feel properly remote. Anneddle Talybont Cottage is a converted stone house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four people. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space, a separate sitting room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with a full range of appliances, and a bathroom. Upstairs are a bedroom with a king bed, another with two singles, and a shower room. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome.

The cottage opens directly onto its garden, which has a sitting area, barbecue and furniture. Parking for two cars is on site. The coast is within a mile, putting wide sandy beaches within easy reach, and the countryside around here—woodland walks, waterfalls a few miles inland, and miles of the Wales Coast Path—means there is walking on the doorstep whether you want an afternoon stroll or a full day's expedition. Barmouth itself offers the seafront promenade and the 150-year-old railway viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary. No smoking inside the property.
