About Parc Caerelwan
Tucked into Snowdonia National Park just a five-minute walk from Barmouth's long sandy beach, Parc Caerelwan strikes a fine balance between coastal fun and mountain adventure. The family-friendly park offers clean, spacious caravans and lodges—some with hot tubs—and earns consistent praise for its peaceful atmosphere and genuinely helpful staff. Dogs are welcome, making it easy to explore the spectacular surroundings together.
On-site, kids can burn energy in the outdoor play area or the two-level indoor soft play complete with ball pit and slide, while adults appreciate the heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. A small shop stocks essentials for those lazy days when even a supermarket run feels like too much effort. The traditional seaside resort of Barmouth sits four miles away, and Snowdon is just over an hour's drive—or hop on the nearby train for stress-free exploring. It's an ideal base for rambles, bikes, and soaking up those heady Snowdonia vistas.

What visitors say
We booked a 2 bedroom 6 birth caravan Friday to Monday. The ladies on reception were lovely. They gave us lots of information, map & a welcome pack. Caravan was spotless. It’s lovely & quiet with beautiful views in every direction. We had a fabulous weekend and will definitely be booking to go back. Thank you 😊

Stayed in house on the park Bwthyn y Mor and what a fantadtic break we had. Massive spacious house, beautifully decorated through out. Advertised to sleep 8 but could actually sleep 10. 2 massive bathrooms upstairs and wc downstairs in the utility. Small fenced secure garden with tables and chairs and a big hot tub, which we made very good use of. Lots of televisions in each room if you have teenagers with you, which we did, plenty of space for them to go off and decompress if needed. So peaceful and quiet but you also have use of the steam room and swimming pool on site if you wish to use it. Renovation of the property appears recent, not 100% perfect, but very close, and so comfortable, cannot wait to go back.

Great place to stay in Barmouth/talybont. Caravan was clean and spacious and a really good price. Friendly staff. Few mins walk from the beach and 10 minute drive into Barmouth. Plenty of parking near caravan. Didn’t use any on site facilities so can’t say much about them but they did look good. Only minor issues we had was that we were told towels were included which we didn’t have- not major though as had took our own. Also wifi in the caravan didn’t work- however again not major as we didn’t expect to have it as most caravans don’t- nice to have though if working.

Stayed in a Gold 3 bed caravan this weekend with my son and my friends children. Location was great minutes from the beach. Although out of season most things were closed on site which we knew before we came. Only disappointment was online when booking it said that we had use of the sunnysands facilities but staff at reception told us arcade etc was closed. Need to book slots for the pool so rec doing day of arrival. Caravan was clean apart from nearly set fire to it because there was a piece of pizza at the back of grill we didnt see until it was super smoky. Eeekk. Wifi avail but need to pay which is standard at caravans. Staff were extremely friendly rec arcades in barmouth and pubs. We will definitely return when everything is open as it all looked amazing. Been to Barmouth before, lots of shops and restaurants. Fab seaside town
