Families and small groups looking for a base in North Wales will find Crib Y Nantlle practical and well-positioned. This converted farmhouse sits on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, a mile from the beach, with views across the Nantlle Valley towards the mountains. The whole property is yours, with parking for three cars and a garden with seating. One pet is welcome.
Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a 32-inch TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, two bedrooms (one double, one with zip-and-link single beds), and a bathroom with both bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are provided. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included.
From here you're within reach of Caernarfon Castle and the Welsh Highland Railway, plus the walking and cycling trails that begin at the door. The nearest shops are three miles away; pubs and restaurants further afield. Anglesey's beaches and those of the Llyn Peninsula are accessible for a day out.

Family of 4 stayed for 7 nights in April '24. Lovely cottage. High standard of fixtures and fittings. Great location. Loads to do locally - possible to cycle a flattish traffic free route to Caernarfon. Cracking welcome basket too! Highly recommended.

Lovely holiday cottage, amazing views of Snowdon and the sea, lovely setting in amongst pastures with horses and some sheep and cows further off. Nice and quiet and nice easy reach of local settlements and attractions. Didn't find any walks nearby but the beach was nice a mile or two away by car. Rooms were lovely too, facilities plenty and good quality, overall made for a really lovely stay.
