Gelli Gron (Open Pastures)
Gwynedd
The Llyn Peninsula draws visitors for its coastal walks, quiet villages and working landscape—a part of Wales where you can still see cattle grazing in open fields. Gelli Gron is a modern farmhouse set among those pastures, a few miles inland from Criccieth. The property is spacious enough for two families or a larger group: four bedrooms (one with an ensuite), three bathrooms, and two sitting rooms mean there's room to spread out. The main bedroom has a king bed; the others hold a double and two pairs of singles. Downstairs, the kitchen is large enough for everyone to gather around a refectory table, and there's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
What guests actually have: Wi-Fi, bed linen and electricity are included, along with heating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, there are two lounges with views toward woodland and the sea, and the enclosed garden has a patio and seating. On-site parking is available. The property is a non-smoking space. From here, leafy country lanes lead to nearby walks—Llangybi village, a mile away, has a medieval church and stone cottages. Criccieth itself is about five miles off, with a castle, shops, restaurants and beach access.
