Pwllheli sits on the Lleyn Peninsula within reach of both Snowdonia and the Anglesey coast. Madryn is a traditional mid-terraced cottage opposite St Beuno Church, with direct access to the cycle track towards Caernarfon and a short walk down to the beach. The enclosed garden has a patio and lawn, and you have parking for two cars on site. One small dog can stay free of charge.
The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a Smart TV and French doors to the garden, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer are all here. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with bunk beds, sharing a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you need them. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
The surrounding area suits families and walkers equally. Sandy beaches at Nefyn and Abersoch are nearby, the Wales coastal path runs close by with views to Anglesey, and Caernarfon with its castle and narrow-gauge railway is within easy reach. The village shop is a minute's walk away.

Just had a fabulous meal here. Staff were absolutely amazing. They were extremely accommodating considering a gang of 15 of us came in as a walk in and they had a beautiful area out the back for us which was great when we had so many kids! Food was perfect, we all got something different and we couldn’t fault any of it! It was gorgeous food. Have a little area outside for the kids was a bonus, kids had fun while the adults could sit out have a drink and watch them it was so safe and secure. I would highly recommend top class all the way

Went with family party of 16, food was pre ordered and don't normally like doing that but did as was a large party and worked well. All food came out quickly and tasted great, good staff on service and nice pub

What a gem of a place. Recommended by a shop owner in Pwllheli and exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent, staff were warm and friendly. Glad to know that it was bought by locals some time ago to save it closing down. Well recommend Y Madryn and we would drive there for a meal before going other pubs. 👌👍

Sunday lunch is delicious! Have been a few times for Sunday lunch now and it’s consistently lovely. Beef is tender, with roasties, mash, veg and plenty of gravy. We recently had our Christmas party there also and the turkey dinner was one of the best I’ve had, with delicious stuffing and pigs in blanket. Would highly recommend!
