Parc Wernol Cottages - Daflod

Photo: Parc Wernol Caravan Park

Daflod is a cottage for two on the Parc Wernol estate near Chwilog, in the countryside outside Pwllheli. It suits couples or solo travellers wanting a quiet retreat within reach of the Gwynedd coast. One dog is welcome at no extra charge, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep farming area. The whole place is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and an electric charging point if needed.

The layout is compact and practical. Downstairs is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with a smart TV, electric woodburner, and a full kitchen including oven, hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs, a single bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that works as a super king or two singles. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead and a heated towel rail. A back garden with seating looks out over the surrounding countryside. Essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.

The cottage sits close to walking country and the beaches and villages of the North Wales coast. Criccieth and other towns are a short drive away. No smoking indoors. The property accepts well-behaved dogs free of charge.

We have enjoyed a fantastic break whilst staying at Daflod. The cottage is perfect for 2 and is maintained to the highest of standards. Caren provided a warm welcome on our arrival and was an excellent host. Lost of lovely beaches and walks are within a short distance. Will definately be returning again.

Had a fantastic Feb half term break in a cosy well finished and furnished 4 bed cottage with sea views and walks / fishing on the doorstep as well as all the delights which the Llyn Peninsula offers by car.

The most beautiful pet friendly cottage nestled away on a working farm, with spectacular views of the sea, not too far from the beach and about 20 mins from Abersoch What a magical valentines weekend with our cockapoo
