Rockcliffe

Aberdovey's beach is a five-minute walk away, and the village itself—with its cafes, restaurants and shops—is on your doorstep. Eryri National Park surrounds you, offering hiking, mountain biking and water sports. The Talyllyn Railway, Machynlleth and numerous coastal walks are within easy reach.

Rockcliffe sleeps 10 across five bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it suitable for two families or a larger group. The ground floor contains an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with a woodburner, Smart TV and Netflix, plus a games room with pool and table football. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is useful for longer stays. Upstairs are the five bedrooms: one super kingsize with ensuite, two kingsize doubles with ensuite and freeview, two further rooms with single and bunk beds, and a family bathroom with spa bath. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with electric oven, gas hob, Aga, dishwasher and coffee machine. An enclosed garden with sitting area and barbecue overlooks the coast, and there is parking for five cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking.

Scattered Seashells and Crusty crabs Swimming Jellyfish, Sandcastles and Coffee shop tabs. Hours of adventure Buckets of fun Days full of laughter And views flooded with sun Boats and trains And lots of ice cream Home made pizzas and Not quite enough sun screen Hours spent together On many games of pool Piecing together puzzles And two v two foose ball Come dine with me dinners Eton mess and home cheese cake With so many memories to Craft and celebrate Endless walks across golden shores The pitter, patter of little tiny feet And mucky puppy paws. The opportunity to Rest, relax and unwind To be still for a moment Not bound my time. Rolling hills And dancing waterfalls An unforgettable time at Rockcliffe For each and everyone one of us all. Days spent together and memories, that will last a lifetime through In a beautiful place All thanks to you!

It’s beautiful, but the owners have (since our previous three visits) placed just ridiculous conditions. It feels like there is a fine for almost everything, you feel nervous in case you accidentally break something or don’t clean the BBQ properly (£30 for that). It’s sort of ruined the ambiance really.
