South View Cottage
Gwynedd
South View Cottage is a traditional stone cottage in Fairbourne, perched on an elevated site with views across the coastal landscape and rural Gwynedd beyond. The building combines period character with modern comforts: it's double-glazed, has gas central heating, and a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. The front patio and decked terrace overlook the surrounding area, with garden furniture provided.
Downstairs, the kitchen-dining room has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. The living room opens onto the terrace and has Freeview TV. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one with two singles—and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included. There is on-road parking outside. The cottage sleeps four and is yours alone; smoking is not permitted.
The sweeping beach at Fairbourne is a short walk away, and the Mawddach Trail begins nearby for cycling or walking. Barmouth and Tywyn, both with independent shops and restaurants, are close by. The Mawddach Estuary, Cader Idris and the whole of Snowdonia National Park are within easy reach for exploration.
