The Yard Cottages - The Yard Beach Retreat

Aberdesach Beach lies a two-minute walk away from The Yard Beach Retreat, a single-bedroom lodge on the Llŷn Peninsula. The ground-floor open-plan space holds a living area with woodburner and television, a kitchen with electric cooking, and a dining zone opening to the garden. A double bedroom and shower room complete the property, which you'll have entirely to yourself. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial logs for the fire.

This stretch of coast suits explorers and those seeking quiet. Dinas Dinlle beach is nearby with views across the bay to Anglesey. The mountains of Snowdonia National Park are within reach—Llanberis, about 25 minutes' drive, offers the main path up Mount Snowdon and access to Llyn Padarn for kayaking. Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cafés and restaurants, is a short drive. Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog are all accessible by car. The village of Penygroes, 4 miles away, has a shop for groceries; for fuller amenities you'll want transport.
