Y Bwthyn Bach

Tywyn's seafront and town centre are within easy walking distance of Y Bwthyn Bach, a restored 19th-century stone cottage set back from the road in a quiet spot. The Magic Lantern theatre is also nearby for an evening out. The cottage itself blends period features—stone walls, beamed ceilings, oak flooring—with practical modern systems: underfloor heating, an air source heat pump, and a wood burner for cosier days.

Inside, the ground floor holds a combined living and dining room with a woodburner, Smart TV and Blu-ray player, plus a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge. Patio doors lead to an enclosed garden with terrace, furniture and gas barbecue. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one double, one with bunk beds. A walk-in shower room serves both. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; initial fuel for the wood burner is too. There's parking for one car on site, and one small to medium dog is welcome. No smoking indoors. The cottage suits families, couples or friends travelling together—a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
