About Mill Rythe Coastal Village

Mill Rythe Coastal Village sits on Hayling Island, a Hampshire coastal spot with a working golf course just up the road and local pubs within easy reach. The site itself offers showers and pitches in a relaxed setting with an indoor pool and dining on-site, plus live entertainment to keep things lively.

This is a laid-back resort atmosphere rather than a quiet retreat, so it suits those after some activity and socialising alongside their break. The island location means you're close enough to the Solent and Portsmouth area's attractions, but the site feels separate from the bustle.

Great weekend away with the family - super friendly reception staff/bar staff and fab entertainment team! Big shout out to Chloe from the entertainment team for spending time with our little boy during Play Tots. Lodge was clean and tidy - ours overlooked the nature reserve and so much wildlife around. Swimming was busy so recommend booking it as soon as possible via the app but we had no issues. We ate at the missing squirrel one night and the food was good but two dishes had to go back (one was cold and one was missing pepperoni on the pizza). These were quickly rectified. The daytime activities for the children were good but maybe slightly overpriced for what they were. Splash park was closed for maintenance for 24hrs but was still running when we were there. Overall a lovely weekend away with family and will be returning in the future!

What a fantastic place to stay with my family, really safe welcoming environment, nice pool, really friendly helpful staff, and the Missing Squirrel was an exceptional place to eat at. Pricing for it was really good, but the food is magnificent!! Very rarely do I feel there is not much I could improve upon, but the food was great portions, delicious produce, and just tasted wonderful. Then the waiting staff brought it to you with a friendly smile and can do attitude to make you feel welcomed. I’d like to see the pot holes fixed on the main road down, and the speed bumps re painted so you can see them more clearly. But that’s the only negative I could think of all holiday. Lodge was good size, very comfy, homely and really clean. The hot tub was worth every penny, so don’t scrimp and get get one! It relaxes you every time you jump in it. I’d 100% return. Thank you to all the friendly staff that made our stay a great memory for my family. The Youldon -Piercy family.

We had a fantastic stay at Mill Rythe Coastal Village in a spacious Shadow Wood lodge. The lodge was designed with plenty of room for everyone, a relaxing hot tub, and even a freestanding bath in the master bedroom. The team at the Missing Squirrel bar were exceptional, always remembering our drinks and making the experience feel wonderfully personal. They also showed the England games on the outdoor screen, creating a superb atmosphere for everyone. The park was ideally located too, with the seafront only a pleasant 30-minute walk away. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others.

Relaxing, very friendly site. Dog friendly with great walks from campsite. Two great bars, no launderette or on site shop. The accomodation is the best I have stayed in over last few years, dishwasher, full size fridge freezer and a hot tub that is checked twice daily. There is a well known budget supermarket a minutes walk from camp entrance. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff,
