What visitors say
On our doorstep so decided to pay a visit and so glad we did. What a fantastic piece of history and so well presented by wonderful staff and guides. The tour of the buildings is very clearly and logically laid out with great pieces of interest and humourous commentary. The county museum is ideal for younger visitors so we must return with grandkids in tow. Surprised at the low cost of entry for a 12 month ticket but pleased and it meant we could also support the gift shop and cafe and also return to spend time in the grounds. The cafe offers a wonderful afternoon tea, freshly made and beautifully presented. A great day out we would completely recommend.

A wonderful place to visit - a real hidden gem. We visited to break up a long journey and we will definitely be back soon. Beautiful palace and fascinating history. Stunning grounds and views, and we sadly didn't have time to visit the museum. Great cafe with delicious food and great prices. What a wonderful place to visit - highly recommended.

Visited Hartlebury Castle in Feb half term and it was a great day out. A fantastic little gem of a place. As it was half term there was an exciting little trail for the kids and we picked the more difficult one and my daughter really enjoyed trying to find the mythical beasts hidden in the clues and rooms. The entire castle was amazing a true journey through time. The attached museum was also a really good fun. Lots of costume to try and things for the kids. We will definitely return in the spring/summer to experience and enjoy the castle grounds and adventure play area.

More a museum. Today was sealed knot so you were unable to use a historic houses membership card to get in free. This happens when there is ANYTHING other than just the museum. Sword fight at 1pm actually FINISHED at 1pm. Not much seating so disappointed that a whole seating area was taken by a group of sealed knot young men who left rubbish. It almost seemed as if the public were in their way . cigarette butts could be seen around the camp too. That said the last battle was interesting and very noisy but chaotic. A little more choreography might help it come together more as a show . Be aware the guns are VERY LOUD if you come to a battle.
