Had an amazing visit at the Mill House caravan site. Staff were very helpful, nice size pitch, lovely location, with a beautiful walk along the canal. The toilets and showers were spotless. Games room, and a lovely evening spent by the boozy box having a drink. Met some super people staying there, will be back. Thank you xx

I don't like to post bad reviews. If I've had a bad experience I put it out of my mind and move on because "life is too short to dwell on the negative". This is definitely the exception. Our group had booked 7 plots, 3 months in advance. When we arrived we were squeezed onto 2 plots. The reason given for the mess up was an overbooking problem with pitchup.com. They managed to give all our guests the EHU we asked for but we were left in a situation where the children in our group could not play safely or without risking damaging other guests vehicles during their play. Mill House felt that they had accommodated our needs and only offered to reduce the price of our stay by a nominal amount. We paid 1/2 of the cost and, in my opinion, we still overpaid. I have subsequently found through older reviews that Mill House have done this to other groups in the past so I'm now reluctant to believe their pitchup.com excuse. The toilets and showers were clean and that was worth one star.

Friendly lovely site with wonderful clean facilities. Felt like we were miles away from home although only a short drive. Boozy bar is a brilliant social place and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend definitely somewhere I will keep coming back to as enjoyed it so much!

I recently took two groups of school children there to experience the outdoors in a positive way. They learned to pitch a tent, cook some food and socialise. The site was beautiful, very well maintained and the staff were amazing.
