What was a lovely caravan park was completely ruined when it was taken over in April last year the first thing grass stopped being cut and we were told that land that was being developed does not need to be cut. After the caravan owners complained it was finally cut. Then came the rates increase went up from £130 to £300 being told it should be £500 but they were giving caravan owners a discount. After being consistently being told how transparent they are not one owner was told how this figure was arrived at even though we all asked.People started to leave Fairview. We had purchased a brand new Willerby manor in 2021from the old owners Steve and Karen at a cost f £48,000 and were looking forward to spending our retirement years at Fairview. Then the fun started went out for the day came back to find a 3’ deep hole the back of our caravan no explanation or area roped off or h&s signs.Go out another day come back and a caravan has been put next to your Neighbour facing the opposite way no explanation to any of us. You send emails to them and you get no comment replies. The final insult came when two of my garden ornaments were damaged and plants were stolen from neighbours garden. Where we used to come down to get peace and quiet had turned into a nightmare. Complete strangers allowed to roam on the park exercising their dogs and allowing them to defecate and not picking it up. We had enough so we felt we had to leave as others had decided to do. We were offered £19,000 pounds which we accepted as myself and my husband were clearly stressed out. Our caravan was put up for sale 3 days later at £45,000 we had not even received our money in the bank. If you do decide to buy a holiday home on this site now just be aware of what you are doing.

Fairview was a lovely pristine site with a lovely community spirit run by two lovely owners Karen and Steve who were fair minded and reasonable owners. In April this year the site was taken over by new owners. This is not the case now. There are now 7 empty pitches and 6 caravans up for sale. I would strongly recommend you talk to owners on this site before considering to purchase a holiday home on this site and get all information regarding this site in writing regarding security of site and availability of staff on site pitch fees. Not all is at it seems

Peaceful and well maintained holiday caravan site. Have had many happy years here, appreciating the beautiful scenery and quiet surroundings. Lot of National Trust and other places to visit nearby and ideal for a holiday with dogs. Site owners Karen and Steve friendly and always on hand to help out with any problems. Highly recommended.

This is such a wonderful Holiday Park, so peaceful and situated within rolling hills with fantastic views all around it, no noise only nature. If you want quiet relaxation there can be nowhere better, located about 7 miles from shops and amenities is part of its attraction. The site is pristine with its owners taking care of its grounds and supporting owners whenever required. An excellent base for attractions but to be honest once you are in the caravan it’s very difficult to want to leave as it’s so perfect. Have to say it’s the best decision I have made and only wish had found it earlier.
