The cottage was renovated in 2023 and runs to one double bedroom, a bathroom, and a ground floor that combines kitchen, dining and living space across an open plan. A back door opens onto the garden, letting light in and giving direct access to the patio and grounds.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and microwave; you can cook properly or keep things simple. Upstairs sits a tumble dryer in a cupboard, so laundry is manageable. Downstairs, the living area has a television (Freeview and Freesat), an electric fire, and a breakfast bar facing into the kitchen. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity come as standard. The property sleeps two, has parking for two cars on site, and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. No smoking inside.

Walks start from the doorstep into moorland and valleys; the Longdendale Valley's reservoirs and the approaches to Kinder Scout are accessible from here.
