What visitors say
Visited manor Park and Old Glossop Village,8 th July. I wanted to do a review about Old Glossop Village, but couldn't get to the place, any way the village is around the park. I started by the park, really nice ,not surprised it was busy. Started by the lake ,many ducks ,walked around noticed the river passing by,"Shelf Brook " river, hot to the garden very well maintained ,2 gardeners working, pass by the miniature rail, mini golf,Basket ball, football courts, bowls green, a kind if outside gym with impressive equipment, very good play ground.Used the toillet.A good place to pass a morning or afternoon, benches everywhere and picnic tables. Left the park, started to walk outside the park came to this road with stone structure, really pretty,Pass by Old glossop market cross, just behind the glossop Parish Church,a grade II listed building.A few pubs around. The views os the hills are stunning. Loved the buildinds mostly with the stone structure.I finished my walk in Glossol, really recomend to visit Old glossop, and the cleanliness of the Village is Fantastic.

Nice peaceful walk around a park that I hadn't visited since my childhood when my dad worked at Volcrepe. A very newly built play area and outdoor gym etc looks great too.
