Achaneich Stable Cottage comes with everything you need for a self-catering break: electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, so you can cook properly rather than make do. A washer-dryer means you can manage laundry without hunting for a laundrette. The open-plan living space contains a TV, DVD player and DAB radio, and there's a shower room with a cubicle shower.
The cottage is a one-bedroom property sleeping two, with a double bed (4ft 6in) and a patio with seating looking out over the grounds. It sits on 2.5 acres of landscaped woodland with the Grey Corries and Aonach Mor visible in the distance. The property stands on the grounds of a historic Highland house dating to 1600, and you're welcome to explore the gardens. There's a pub within a mile. A burn runs through the grounds and the terrain is hilly and slopes down towards a river below, so the cottage is not suitable for disabled guests. No smoking, please. You arrive after 4pm and depart before 9am.

Beautiful cottages in a secluded location a mile outside Spean Bridge, with Ben Nevis in the background. Owners are absolutely lovely and very welcome. A perfect Highland home for our stay.
