Bay Cottage

Bay Cottage is a detached single-storey building in the hamlet of Charleston, positioned to take in views across Gairloch Bay. The whole place is yours alone, with everything on one level: a combined living and dining space anchored by a breakfast bar that separates it from the kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Electric heating and all bed linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer-dryer, giving you what you need to cook and manage laundry. The lounge carries a TV, DVD player, DAB radio and CD player. Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and a sitting area, plus private parking for one car. The cottage is no-smoking.

Charleston sits opposite Gairloch harbour, where boat trips—including sea wildlife excursions and glass-bottom boat tours—can be arranged. The harbour pier holds a small café, shops and post office within easy reach. A pub lies less than half a mile away. This is a straightforward base for exploring the west Highland coast.
