Birchwood Chalet
Highland
The River Glass runs through these grounds, and free trout fishing is available along miles of bank here. Glen Affric lies within easy reach, while the conservation village of Tomich and Cannich are both nearby. This positions Birchwood Chalet at the threshold of some of the Highlands' best walking and outdoor country, with the chalet itself set back into woodland on the Kerrow House estate.
The accommodation is a Scandinavian A-frame built for comfort. Downstairs holds an open-plan living and dining space with a Smart TV, a kitchen fitted with electric cooking and a dishwasher, and a shower room. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—sleeping four in total. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, and there is private parking for two cars.
What sets the chalet apart is the wood-fired hot tub for four, available by arrangement with the owner. The grounds include a shared garden with sitting-out areas and terrace. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking, and check-in is after 17:00, with departure by 10:00.
