Braehead

Highland

Photo: Google Maps

Nairn sits on the Moray coast where former fishing villages dot the shoreline and bottlenose dolphins occasionally appear offshore. The village itself has grown into a proper seaside town with shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, an award-winning beach a quarter-mile away, and a working harbour. Inverness lies a short drive inland; Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and Loch Ness are all within reach for day trips. The Malt Whisky Trail runs through the region, and the countryside around offers water sports, fishing, boat trips and mountain biking for those who want activity, or simply peace for those who don't.

Braehead is a detached house on an elevated position with parking on site. The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and smart TV, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with gas and electric ovens, a dishwasher and all the usual kit. Upstairs there are three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two singles—plus a bathroom with both a bath and separate shower cubicle. The property sleeps six and comes with wi-fi, bed linen and towels included. There is a garden with furniture outside. Note that the front garden has a steep slope. Smoking is not permitted.
