Cluaran Cottage

Cluaran Cottage suits families or small groups wanting a complete base for exploring the east coast of the Highlands. It sleeps six across three bedrooms—a double, another double, and a twin—with one shower room and a separate utility room housing a coin-operated washer-dryer. The ground floor has a living room with a 42-inch Freeview TV, a dining room, and a kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and broadband is included alongside electricity, bed linen and towels.

The cottage stands close to Tain town centre, where shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs are within walking distance, along with a golf club, tennis courts and bowling green. A small garden surrounds the property; note there is one step from the roadside into the garden, and two steps each to the front and back doors. Private parking fits two cars. The shoreline lies roughly half a mile away, and the property sits on the North Coast 500 route, putting Glenmorangie Distillery, Dunrobin Castle and Dornoch within easy reach. From here you can head north for coastal walks and beaches, west for mountains and lochs, or south towards the Black Isle and Inverness. No smoking inside the cottage.
