Families and groups of four will find The Larches a practical base for exploring the Highlands. This cabin sits on elevated ground near Culbokie, with countryside and hills visible across the landscape. Three bedrooms—two with king beds and one single—sleep four; two bathrooms mean less queuing in the mornings. The main floor has an open-plan living space with a wood burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a utility room with a washing machine. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a shower room. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; initial wood for the burner is provided too.
The grounds have a sitting area with garden furniture and a barbecue, plus a private hot tub (available for an additional charge). There is secure parking for three cars and a bike store. The location puts you near the Culbokie Inn on the NC500 route, and within reach of walking trails through the countryside, the Black Isle, and the broader Highland landscape. The cabin does not permit smoking.

Amazing viewed and brilliant pod. Stayed in the shepherd's hut. Only thing I could critize was the security, the hut was locked with a padlock and at night we just had to use a latch to secure it..no key The hot tap is scolding However the overall was amazing hence the 5 stars, would go again...just needs a proper key for the door
