Glencoe Mountain Resort and the dramatic peaks around Ballachulish are a short drive away, making this an ideal base for hillwalking, climbing or simply exploring one of Scotland's most striking landscapes. The NC500 route also passes through the region, so longer road trips into the Northern Highlands are straightforward from here. Black Rock Cottage itself is a camping cabin that sleeps five across three bedrooms: two doubles and a single, plus one bathroom with a shower cubicle.
Everything happens on the ground floor. The living and dining room has a Freeview TV and electric fire; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with an oven, hob, microwave and two fridge-freezers. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and electricity are all included, and there is parking for two cars on site. Outside, a lawned garden offers a sitting-out area. The cabin is non-smoking.
This is a self-catering property, so you'll need to plan your own meals, but a small grocery store, post office and pub with restaurant are within walking distance or a very short drive. Inverness lies 15 minutes away by car, while Dingwall is roughly 10 minutes in the other direction.
