Hillside

Hillside is a substantial stone cottage on the west coast of Highland, built to last and positioned to make the most of its surroundings. Three bedrooms—each with a double bed, plus a single in the third—and one bathroom serve six people comfortably. The layout spreads across ground and first floors, with the living and dining space downstairs alongside a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and the bedrooms upstairs. Electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen and towels are included.

Outside, a lawned garden with patio and seating faces across Gairloch Bay towards the Torridon Mountains and the islands of Raasay and Skye. Parking is available for three cars on site, and one dog stays free. The cottage sits just outside Gairloch village itself, close enough to reach the pub, restaurant, fishmonger, butcher and shops on foot, but far enough out to feel properly rural. A nine-hole golf course runs along Gairloch Beach if that appeals. The Torridon and Applecross valleys, Loch Broom and the Assynt hills all make good day trips from here.
