Morlich is a single-storey detached house in the west coast village of Gairloch, elevated above the bay with views across to the Isle of Skye. The main living space is open plan with large windows facing the water and mountains; it contains comfortable seating for six, a dining table, and a kitchen equipped with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all essentials for self-catering. The property has four bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite bathroom, a double, and two singles. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
The house sits on a quiet lane with its own gardens—mostly lawned, with an enclosed wild garden area accessed via a few steps. Parking for three cars is on site. Around 300 yards away are shops, cafés, a pub and restaurants. Gairloch is known for its beaches; Big Sand, a sweeping bay with dunes, is within walking distance. The area is good for exploring caves, spotting wildlife including dolphins and seals, and setting out on trails. No smoking inside the property.

A beautiful stretch of sandy beach surrounds this beautiful loch. The unfortunate thing was the additional car parks were under construction as we went out of season. I imagine in the summer months this will be a great benefit for the area.
