The cottage itself occupies an elevated spot overlooking countryside in the village of Gorstan, a mile from Garve, in a quiet rural setting that works as a base for exploring the wider Highlands.
Holly Cottage is a single-storey detached property with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping six. The master has a kingsize bed and ensuite with bath and shower; a double and a twin bedroom share a separate shower room. Downstairs, the kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer—and the living room has a smart TV, Sky, DVD player and books. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; heating is by gas central heating. A utility room contains a washing machine and washer-dryer. Outside, a lawned garden has a patio, garden furniture and a portable barbecue, plus bike storage and parking for three cars. One pet stays free of charge. The property is non-smoking.

Perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday. We've been 3 times and have booked again to go in Feb. It's home from home, got everything you need. Perfect location near to Dingwall for local amenities and a fantastic gateway for the Highlands. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful accommodation in exceptional condition inside and out. Has a contained grass garden and sole access to the woodland area all the way up to the road. Perfect for a dog, very safe, mine loved it. This is the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed in. You could have eaten your dinner off any surface! It was like a showhome. Lovely furnishings and modern interior. Everything worked perfectly. The heating was easy to understand. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything you need is there. I didn't want for a single thing, and if I did, the owners were next door to help. They were none intrusive and left me to my own devices, which I appreciated. Holly Cottage ticked every box for me and I can't fault it at all, not even a small thing. I've spent over ten years in Scotland working the winter months and have stayed in all sorts of holiday accommodation and I can say hand on heart this is the best one I have found. A credit to the owners. Nice job 👍
