This detached cottage suits couples and small families wanting a private base in the Highlands. It has two bedrooms—a kingsize with en-suite and a twin—plus a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping four. Both levels of outdoor space matter here: the main bedroom opens directly onto a large decking area facing the mountains, and there is also an enclosed garden with patio furniture and a barbecue. The setting is quiet, at the end of a cul-de-sac within the Silverglades development.

The ground-floor layout means no stairs to manage. You get a full kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine; a woodburner in the living room (fuelled with complimentary logs from October to April); and an en-suite shower in the main bedroom plus a separate bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is private parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point on site.

This is straightforward countryside accommodation with decent amenities—no smoking throughout, and check-in is after 4pm.
