Lovely modern campsite just on the edge of Aviemore. The campsite is made up of lots of little areas so you don’t feel like you’re just abandoned in a massive field and also helps keep it sheltered. We camped for 4 nights and the facilities were always clean and staff always friendly. If I was to be super nit picky I would wish for them to have urinals as well as toilets in the men’s bathroom but this is a tiny request and doesn’t affect my overall rating. Looking forward to returning!

Stayed here for 2 days while on our Scotland road trip. A lovely site with lovely, cheerful owners. Facilities are super clean and easy to use. You can walk into Aviemore in 20 minutes to have a look round. The day we were there it had snowed on the hill tops and looked amazing. If ever passing again would defo stop off here. Thank you Oakwood.

My husband and I are on an extended bicycle touring trip set up our tent it started raining. they let us stay in the reception area which was very comfortable until they closed at 7:00pm. They had a covered picnic area, the bathrooms are very clean, the hostesses were fantastic with a great sense of humor. very accommodating and the food truck had delicious food

Nice site. Would be good if you could arrive a little earlier. Friendly staff. Food van on site is useful & tasty veggie options. Great dog walk on site. Easy access to Aviemore
