Nyumbani

Nyumbani is a single-storey detached cottage on the Isle of Skye, set back from the road with grounds wrapping around it and views across Loch Harport. The layout is all on one level. You arrive at the entrance via 15 steps, then step into a living room warmed by a woodburner, a generous kitchen with dining space, and a utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. The conservatory serves as a second sitting area with a television and glazed doors that open onto the enclosed garden outside.

Three bedrooms accommodate the six of you: one with a double bed, two with singles. The single bathroom has a bath with shower over. Electricity, bed linen, towels and initial fuel for the woodburner are included. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. You have parking on the road and a fully enclosed garden with seating area; one well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost.

A pub lies within a mile. The cottage does not have a television in the main living room, though there is one in the conservatory. No smoking inside the property.
