The Duckling is a single open-plan space designed to work hard for two people. Everything fits on the ground floor: a living area with Sky TV, a dining space, a kitchen with induction hob and double oven, a kingsize bed at one end, and a separate shower room. Storage comes from drawers and a wardrobe built either side of the bed. The sofa reclines and moves, so you can position it to face the sea views that dominate the front wall—almost entirely glass, with decking running along the length of the cabin. Electric heating keeps it warm through the year, and essentials like linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included.
Parking for one car sits beneath the deck. The cabin allows one pet and operates a no-smoking policy. From here, you're at the far end of the Minginish Peninsula, overlooking Portnalong harbour. This is terrain for walkers and climbers, with beaches and hills nearby; water sports are within reach. Arrive after 15:00 and depart by 10:00.
