Reindeer Retreat

Aviemore's outdoor attractions—skiing, mountain biking, hiking—are a five-minute walk away, making Reindeer Retreat a practical base for exploring the Cairngorms. The bungalow itself sits in a quiet corner of the Silverglades development at Dalnabay, with parking for up to two cars and a back garden with a barbecue.

The single-storey layout keeps everything accessible. Two bedrooms sleep four guests in beds (a double with ensuite shower, and two singles), plus there's a sofa bed in the living room for a fifth. Both bedrooms have their own shower or bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. The property is no smoking throughout.

This works well for families and groups wanting to base themselves in the area while using local facilities; a travel cot and highchair are available to hire separately. The nearest village amenities—cafes, shops, leisure centre—are easily reached on foot.
