Stone Cottage

Spar Cave is within reach, and from Stone Cottage you can explore the southern stretch of Skye with ease. The small train station sits steps away, making this a natural base for island wandering. Views from the bedrooms and living spaces reach across Sleat towards the isles of Rhum and Eigg, so there is something to look at whether you are settled indoors or venturing out.

The cottage itself is a conversion of an old house and byre, restored over two years to create a four-person retreat with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space has a woodburner, comfortable seating, and a full kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and all the rest. The ground-floor bedroom has a zip-and-link super kingsize (or two singles on request); upstairs, a kingsize bed sits in an ensuite with a bath. A further family bathroom serves the landing. Wifi, electricity, bed linen, towels and initial fuel for the fire are provided. The front garden is enclosed and lawned; parking for two cars is on site. The property is non-smoking and not suitable for children under five.
