The Stag

The Stag is a low-built detached property where everything happens at ground level—three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sitting room and kitchen all on one floor. The main bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize (or two singles if you prefer), and the other two bedrooms offer a bunk bed and two further singles; there's also a sofa bed in the living space for an eighth guest. This layout means no stairs to manage with young children, older relatives or anyone with mobility considerations.

The kitchen is set up for proper cooking: electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The sitting room has a woodburner (with logs supplied October to April), Freeview and Sky channels, and enough seating and dining table space for eight people gathered together. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included; there's on-site parking for three cars and an enclosed garden outside. One dog is welcome, and the property provides doggy essentials.

Dalnabay sits in a quiet cul-de-sac beneath the Cairngorm Mountains, five minutes on foot from Aviemore's restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes—many of which are dog-friendly. Walking country surrounds the area. The property does not permit smoking.
