About Seren-y-Mor

Tucked into woodland on a private 17th-century estate, Seren-y-Mor ('Star of the Sea') offers a delightfully wild escape on Anglesey's north coast. You're minutes from the beach and the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, perfect for families or keen walkers craving unspoilt scenery. The eco ethos runs deep – composting toilets, hot showers, recycling – and the peaceful, back-to-basics pitch keeps things simple with no electric hook-ups. Bring your own barbecue or firepit (groceries in Holyhead, 20 minutes away), and watch for pop-up food stands during high season.

Church Bay, a five-minute drive, has a well-regarded pub and café, while two more pubs are half an hour on foot if you fancy stretching your legs. The setting genuinely feels remote and wildlife-rich, though you're still handy for watersports, climbing and cycle hire nearby. A quietly confident choice for campers who value atmosphere over frills.

What visitors say

Saya Robinson

Great hot showers, clean toilets. Stunning views, tonnes of space and privacy. Great walk to a couple of beaches, one had a cafe open Thursday to Sunday. Beaches nice for swimming and a few rock pools for the kids. Good communication from owners. Couldn't be more helpful.

We love this place our 3rd visit and it didn't disappoint , Nina is lovely with great communication. the Bell tent was set out really nice with big mattress and lovely bedding. The facilities are basic as you would expect from an ECO camp but well maintained . Thank you for a magical weekend , we will see you soon xx

Family of 4 staying in the Bell tent. Beautiful scenery watching the sunset every evening whilst the kids played. Lots of room, eco site with clean facilities and hot showers. Woods was a big hit with the kids exploring and playing in the rope swing.
