The Old Workshop is a single open-plan space converted from a former carpentry barn, retaining original features like vaulted ceilings and exposed timber beams. Everything happens in one room: a sitting area with television, dining space overlooking the courtyard, and a fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The bedroom holds a king-size bed, and a shower room with heated towel rail completes the layout. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided.
The cottage sits on a small working farm in West Chiltington, surrounded by Sussex countryside at the edge of the South Downs National Park. A courtyard with garden furniture faces the property, where you can watch the farmyard while having breakfast. Bike storage is available, and there is a shared laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Private parking for one car is on site.
The village itself has a 12th-century church, local shops and a pub within a mile, making it suitable as a base for walking or exploring the area. The property is adults-only accommodation and is non-smoking.
