Anglesey's industrial past shapes the landscape around Copper Crab Cottage. Parys Mountain, once the world's largest copper mine, dominates the terrain with its distinctive scarred slopes and the vast Great Opencast pit—gouged out by hand tools and explosives alone. A network of walking routes crosses the surreal geology, and local pubs and shops sit within easy reach on foot.
The cottage itself is compact: a ground-floor living space with a woodburner and Freeview TV, a kitchen with electric cooker, hob, microwave and dishwasher, then a bedroom and shower room upstairs. One double bed sleeps two. An enclosed garden at the rear has patio seating and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.
One dog can stay free. Couples and small groups will appreciate having the place to themselves; it's not suitable for children under 14. Parking is on-road, and arrival is from 16:00 onwards.
