Lazy Lobster

Amlwch sits on Anglesey's northern shore, a former copper-mining town that has kept its character around the old port. The Lazy Lobster is a two-bedroom cottage here, sleeping four, with one bathroom and a ground-floor living space that opens onto an enclosed garden. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.

The ground floor has a living room with a smart TV and gas fire, and a kitchen equipped to cook from scratch. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a double—and a shower room. Street parking is available outside. The back garden has seating and furniture, making it a spot to settle with tea or a book. The cottage does not permit smoking.

From here, the Anglesey Coastal Path is a few minutes away, offering cliff-top walks with views across the water and chances to spot seabirds. Amlwch Port itself, a short walk off, preserves the town's mining history and is quieter now than in its industrial heyday. The local pub is also within easy reach. Further afield lie Beaumaris with its medieval castle, South Stack Lighthouse on dramatic cliffs, and Newborough Beach, a long stretch of sand backed by dunes.
