Quayside

Quayside is a first-floor apartment in the heart of Cemaes Bay, a fishing village on the Isle of Anglesey. The whole space is yours: a living and dining room with a 36-inch smart TV, a kitchen with electric oven and full refrigeration, two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with two singles), and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The property was fully refurbished in December 2022.

The location is the main draw. You're a short walk from a sandy beach, the harbour, and a scatter of shops, pubs and cafés along the high street. A bypass keeps through traffic away, leaving only local vehicles on the main road, which makes the village feel quiet despite its proximity to the water. Parking for two cars sits on site, and there's a bike store if you bring wheels. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The communal front garden overlooks the harbour and sea.

Cemaes Bay sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has won the Wales in Bloom award multiple times. From here you can reach Beaumaris Castle, go puffin and seal watching by boat, walk the coastal paths, or visit the nearby sea zoo. Holyhead port, 15 miles away, runs day trips to Ireland. Snowdonia National Park is also easily accessible for a change of scenery. No smoking inside the property.
