Cemaes Bay Harbour and a sandy beach lie within easy reach of Seashell Cove, a ground-floor apartment in the northernmost village of Wales. The location puts you near enough to walk to a pub, café and shop, but far enough to feel quieter than busier parts of the island. A double bedroom and a twin room sleep four; the bathroom has a bath with shower, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals rather than heating takeaways. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, and there is parking for two cars on site.
Anglesey's 125 miles of coastline mean beaches are never far away, and the coastal paths offer walks with views and chances to spot local wildlife. South Stack Lighthouse and Beaumaris Castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—are a short drive off, and boat trips to Puffin Island run from the harbour at certain times of year. The Rib Ride boats operate from various points around the island throughout most of the year if you want a faster way to see the water and learn about the area's history. One small dog stays free.
