The Snug is a ground-floor cottage on the edge of Caergeiliog village, where you walk straight into a combined living and dining space with patio doors opening onto an enclosed courtyard. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, and there are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—plus a shower room. Everything you need is here: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered.
The courtyard has garden furniture and a barbecue, and there's secure parking for two cars on site, plus a bike store. The surrounding gardens give the place its own quiet corner despite adjoining the owner's home. You're a mile from the village shop and pub, and about three miles from the nearest beach. The west coast of Anglesey is close enough for easy day trips—Trearddur Bay, rocky coves, and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty coastline are all within reach. Walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers find plenty to do here, and there's golf nearby. Medieval Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd, South Stack Lighthouse and the ferry port at Holyhead make good outings. The cottage does not permit smoking. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
