Silly Moos Campsite

Nice quiet site about ten minutes north of Ramsey. Plenty of room and social hub has phone charging, microwaves, fridge, freezer and free tea and coffee. I never had to wait for showers or toilets but I always used the showers in the evening. I would happily go back but be aware that it takes 35 to 45 minutes to get to Douglas from here.

My arrival at Silly Moos Campsite was well after midnight, but you would never have known it from the welcome I received. 🌙🐮 I was greeted warmly by the owners and even given an extra duvet because they wanted to make sure I stayed warm and comfortable. That level of care perfectly sums up my entire stay. From start to finish, the team at Silly Moos were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, and always happy to stop for a chat, they created an atmosphere that felt more like staying with friends than at a campsite. The site itself is excellent: spacious, well-maintained, peaceful, and blessed with incredible views. It’s also perfectly located, with easy access to Ramsey and some of the best sections of the Mountain Course. 🏍️🇮🇲 The facilities were spotless throughout my stay, and the little extras really made a difference. Tea, coffee, milk, and hot chocolate were all included, there were fridges and microwaves available for guests, plenty of charging points, and lots of tables and seating areas to relax and socialise. The iconic double-decker bus served delicious breakfasts and evening meals, making life even easier during TT fortnight. ☕🍳 One of the highlights was the community spirit. We spent many evenings chatting and sharing stories, and I owe a special thank you to Brian for inviting me to the Marshals’ table and introducing me to the team. Before long, I felt completely adopted and part of the Silly Moos family. ❤️ Silly Moos Campsite truly understands what customer service should be. No matter what time you arrive, you’ll receive a genuine Manx welcome. As they say, the Pyjama Farmer even sleeps next to reception for those arriving at Silly O’Clock! 😄 Whether you need a hairdryer, a hot water bottle, local advice, or you’re one of the many Hairy Arse Bikers visiting for the TT, nothing is ever too much trouble. 🏍️🐮 If you’re planning a trip to the Isle of Man, especially during TT season, I couldn’t recommend Silly Moos Campsite highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!

Great facilities - social hub had tea/coffee/milk/sugar. Microwave/toaster/fridge/boiling water 24/7. Toilets & Showers with plenty of hot water and drinking water. Dishwashing area and camper toilet emptying facilities. Campsite was quiet, friendly to humans and pets!! Would highly recommend.

A wonderful campground ran by wonderful people. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly. They even provided a fridge, microwave, kettle and a place to charge your phones and such.
