What visitors say
What a beautiful park with such a wonderful atmosphere! The colorful flowers and lush greenery gave it a lovely spring-like feel, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The park offers boat rentals on the lake, including pedal boats, which added to the charm of the visit. There was also a water play area where children were having a great time cooling off and enjoying the summer weather. I noticed a busy café as well, which seemed to be a popular spot for visitors. Walking around the lake was a pleasure. Outdoor fitness equipment was available along the path, making it easy to combine a stroll with a workout. The scenery was fantastic for photography, and there were plenty of beautiful spots to capture memorable pictures. One particularly touching feature was the memorial benches and trees dedicated to loved ones who had passed away. Reading the plaques and messages added a meaningful and reflective dimension to the experience. The park wasn't overly crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. There are shaded areas with tall trees and benches, offering a comfortable escape from the sun. If you're visiting during the summer, I would recommend coming in the late afternoon or early evening, as the direct sunlight can be quite intense, especially without a hat or sunglasses. There was also a tennis court available for hire, adding another recreational option for visitors. A special thank you to the Ramsey Commissioners and everyone involved in maintaining and caring for this park. Their hard work and dedication are clearly visible throughout the grounds and have created a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable space for both residents and visitors. Overall, this is a lovely park for walking, exercising, spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, and taking beautiful photos. Highly recommended!

Very nice lake and park to stroll around and spend a few hours when the weather is nice. Free public toilets at each end and plenty of parking on the street and in a carpark. There is a Costa for an overpriced coffee or tea as well as a cafe at the other end. Lots of activities including gym equipment, boats to hire, playground, splash pad and crazy golf. The only reason for a 4 star review is due to the golf looking very tired and in desperate need of some TLC.

Well maintained lovely flower beds. Brilliant exercise machinery but could have a couple more. Kids park is brilliant and grass is maintained but the swings need tightening. The hanging flowers by the picnic area are lovely and I hope the water park will be up and running for next year.
