About Tobermory Campsite
Perched within walking distance of Tobermory's colourful harbour, this campsite makes an excellent base for exploring Mull. The shower and toilet facilities earn consistent praise for being spotlessly clean and spacious, while those seeking a roof overhead can opt for one of the simple camping huts. The harbour town itself is just a short stroll away, putting its shops, restaurants and bars within easy reach.
The on-site café provides handy sustenance after a day's hiking or wildlife watching, and dogs are welcome to join the adventure. While most find the staff friendly and helpful, a few visitors have noted occasional lapses in professionalism. Still, with fishing, golf and some of Scotland's most dramatic coastal scenery on the doorstep, it's a solid, practical choice for a Mull stay.

What visitors say
We stayed for one night, it was awful, in the non electric field… if you can call it that, had over 15 vehicles in, we were crammed, some off those vehicles and tents had 2-4 people in, the issue was they only had 4 toilets and 4 showers, we queued for well over 30 minutes just to shower, if your going to have a lot off people, you need more facilities! the Wi-Fi was also crap! Personally we won’t be coming back.

We stayed at this site for 3 x nights in April. The site was nice and quiet. Pitches were well spaced. Statics, Shepherd Huts, Motorhomes and Camping all on site. The staff were lovely and friendly. There was a modular shower block with 1 x disabled wc/shower and 2 x smaller wc/shower rooms. Honestly the BEST hot shower we have ever had!! Marvellous 👏. Tobermory within walking distance a bit steep walking back but doable. Walked to The Glass House cafe [worth the walk] and the Island Bakery is enroute from the site, with cookie shed with honesty box [lovely biscuits]. Definitely go back - a cracking site.

We were in Tobermory for a couple of days and stayed in a shepherd's hut. The staff were very friendly, the campsite is peaceful and excellently situated near to Tobermory. We left some boots behind and Karen kindly posted them back to our home for us. Excellent place to stay.
